Hataw Exercise
Regular exercise can help protect you from heart disease and stroke, high blood pressure, obesity, back pain, osteoporosis, and can improve your mood and help you to better manage stress.
In July 22, 2012, the LSVMS-AA launched a new gimmick called Hataw Exercise which aimed at community health awareness program which is held every Sunday, 4:30am - 5:00am at RTN Oval. Everybody is invited so come out and join and taste the free hot coffee and pandesal. Sunday Hataw Exercise is still going and will be going on as long as there are still people who wanted to be healthy and live healthy. Anyone one who wants to join is (very much) welcome. Sunday 4:30 am to 6:00 AM. How Physical Activity Impacts Health Regular physical activity that is performed on most days of the week reduces the risk of developing or dying from some of the leading causes of illness and death in most countries. • Reduces the risk of dying prematurely from heart disease. • Reduces the risk of developing high blood pressure. • Reduces feelings of depression and anxiety. • Helps control weight. • Helps build and maintain healthy bones, muscles, and joints. • Helps older adults become stronger and better able to move about without falling. • Promotes psychological well-being.
